Booking Terms and Conditions
Payment Terms: To confirm a booking we take a 50% deposit and you will not make any further payments until the lesson has been completed. As outdoor activities are weather dependent, please keep an alternative day free to complete the lesson.
Cancellation by Mobius: In the event of a lesson being cancelled due to the weather, you can book an alternative date within a six-month period. After six months the deposit will be null and void.
Refunds: Provided you have allocated at least one back up day to allow for adverse weather conditions, we can refund lesson deposits. Refunds of lesson deposits must be requested within 14 days of the lesson being cancelled.
Cancellation by the Customer: Cancellations must be made at least 10 days prior to the course. If you cancel within 10 days the deposit/voucher will become null and void, unless a medical note is supplied.
Missed Bookings: In the event of a booked course being missed the voucher/deposit for that course becomes null and void. No refunds or cancellation procedures may apply.
Vouchers: Vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers are transferable between all courses and can be given to a third party. Refunds are not possible under any circumstances. It is the responsibility of the recipient to book and complete the course within the 10-month period.
The Course: Mobius will provide insurance, tuition and all equipment required to undertake the course effectively and safely. Please be fully aware that all courses are weather dependent and that this may adversely affect your course. The decision to cancel due to compromised safety or extreme weather conditions rests solely with the instructor.
Transport: For kitesurfing courses some form of transport (other than public transport) must be available in order to get to other beaches if required. A list of all the locations we operate from can be found on the locations page. If the student is unable to get to another beach, the voucher or payment for that course becomes null and void.
