Perranporth, over two miles long and a quarter of a mile wide at low tide, is one of Cornwall's finest expansive beaches. It has sand dunes at the top and with acres of flat sand, making it an ideal and safe place to learn. With a Pub on the beach as well what else do you need!
As it is very exposed, it allows you to kitesurf on a SW, W, NW and N. There are two main carparks, one right on the sea front and one on top of the cliffs with steps down to the beach. There are restricted zones marked on the lifeguard signs. These restrictions are in place all year round so even if the beach is dead please stay in the right area.
